November note from your president:
Dear Women of the Church,
Ever since Lakeside Church was founded the women of the church have been very much involved in activities that have given them opportunities to serve and to grow in their faith. Some of these activities of course, involve the whole church family but othersare activities developed with women in mind by our Lakeside Women. There is a little something to that Venus and Mars theory!
Here is a list of some of the activities for women that take place at Lakeside:
Sarah Circle - Monthly Bible study, prayer and fellowship
Dorcas - Monthly Quilting and Needle Craft Group helping to meet various needs locally and around the world
Women in Christian Fellowship - Participation in a community group for bi-monthly lunches.
Fair Trade Market - 3rd Sunday Sept-May, sale of coffee, tea and chocolate
Secret Prayer Partner Program
Involvement in our Richmond Conference, Virginia Synod and ELCA's Women's Organizations
Yard Sale - yearly
