Vaction Babln School
Vacation Bible School was conducted last week. Again we joined with the three Littleton churches
(Methodist, Baptist and Presbyterian) for this ecumenical venture. We are grateful to several of our
folks who took leadership roles: Elizabeth Groeger, Delores Meleney, Ellen Tillson, Debbie Wilder, Pat Ziesmann, Corrye Hatchell, Alex Shoenberg and Pastor Eichner. It is always a joy to share the good
news of the Gospel with children and to support their growth in faith and life.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~August 14 Yard Sale~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Summer is here and our inventory of donated items for the August 14 Yard Sale is blessedly growing,
BUT WE NEED YOUR STUFF! We have begun pricing the items in the pods and need your help. If you can
give just an hour or two on Wednesday morning from 8 to 10 am to help price, sort and repackage these
items please contact Liz Johnson at 586-4469. All proceeds will benefit our church. We can’t do this
huge task without you. Yes, you! Become one of the remnant corps and be blessed by being a blessing
and getting involved. More donations are needed too so think “downsize”. Need help going through those
stashed away boxes? We can help you – give Liz a call.
Our Parish Nurse ,
Charlotte Moss, has begun her work among us. She will be available as a valuable resource for questions about healing, medications, “when should I call the doctor?,” why am I feeling like this during recovery from surgery?, etc. You can contact her in a couple of ways. She can be reached at (cell) 540-220-2166, (home) 252-538-9924, or through our church office at 252-586-6778. Yet to be determined is a time each week when she will be at the church. When that time slot is selected it will be announced.
